Ever thought “uh, the mozilla.org page layouts looks like 4+ years old”? Well, it actually is. One of the first mozilla.org start pages is this. As you can see, not much difference there. And nowhere to find any mention of a new layout in the works?
Wrong
What you can see here is an entirely new mozilla.org site, powered by zope, quite a good web application server (and of course open-source, too). I’ve tried it out a little, registered, and it looks like many pages aren’t yet accessible for general audience. But what can be seen so far looks promising. It looks like every member will even have their own webspace.
Sure, one could have hoped for a new color scheme and a replacement for the top left dragon in the city logo. But is that really that important?
