WebKit development site
amon-re reports about the state of Mac browsers and the second (iCab) and third (Konqueror) to pass the Acid2 test. Microsoft Update 6
The Windows XP-only Windows Update 5 and Office Update have finally been merged togeter to Microsoft Update 6.0, providing updates to recent version of Windows, Office, Exchange and SQL Server. For no apparent reason, Microsoft Update still functions through a browser (Internet Explorer 5 and up only), rather than using a separate software, as similar tools such as Apple’s Software Update or Red Hat Network’s update manager do, making updating Microsoft software a needlessly complicated task. They have, however, gradually improved their faceless Automatic Updates feature. Microsoft also after a lot of delay released Windows Server Update Services (aka Windows Update Services née Software Update Services), although strangely enough, its installation is actually more complicated than that of its predecessor. Can’t have everything, I suppose.
