Mac-specific ZFS intro

December 20th, 2006

The website may have an awful name, but TheMacHackers.com provides a somewhat useful introduction to ZFS features. I have a gut feeling that site might go down, so I mirrored it.

The website may have an awful name

Huh? How so?

According to the Hacker’s Jargon Guide, a hacker is:

A person who enjoys exploring the details of programmable systems and how to stretch their capabilities, as opposed to most users, who prefer to learn only the minimum necessary

Since the site seems to explore the Mac on a more technological level than most, it sure sounds fair to me…

Yes, I know the definition of a hacker. I just happen to find the name quite cliché and unimaginative. You’re entitled to disagree.

Leave the country the same, but correct the continent, and end the sentence with a period instead.
