Made a ton of photos of Dschingis this evening; every one in here starting from the fifth. There’s also some from last year in this set.
A little selection:

Life is good. More precisely, (the) weather is good, and has been for weeks.
Enjoying it indoors doesn’t quite cut it, though. What a waste that would be!
And, evidently, I started a trend by taking the laptop outside:
Ah, the joys of WiFi.
Meanwhile, we’ve been emptying our living room shelves (and throwing lots of stuff away):
Interestingly, my productivity skyrockets when I sit outside (I was expecting quite the opposite). Unfortunately, most of the trees don’t have enough leaves yet, so there’s a desperate lack of shade during the day, making laptop displays hard too read until around 7 PM.
Oh, and no worries: I’ll stop boring you with silly photos when the weather gets bad again, which *knock on wood* hopefully won’t be for another few days!

It’s my father’s sixtieth birthday, and preparations are going on while he’s off to work.
A beautiful guestbook has been made, ready to be filled:

My dad, my stepmother and I spent the eve of Christmas Eve unpacking a bunch of presents, and a few photos were shot with my dad’s camera. Most were made by Gerda, some by Adi, and the last one by me. We had a good time, and not just because of the alcohol.

My brother bought m0in.de, a surprisingly short domain and therefore a rare, lucky purchase — especially since ‘moin’ (without leetspeak) is quite a common expression in certain parts of Germany.
I guess it’s only fitting for a student of computer science to call their first entry “Hello world!” (in German). In accordance to completely asinine German laws, he also wrote an Imprint (nutty as it sounds, if he hadn’t, a lawyer could easily squeeze some money out of him).
Quite unusually for Technorati, who otherwise have their fair share of reliability problems, my brother’s blog also immediately showed up in my ‘kuklau’ watchlist.
I’m getting severely off-topic, though. All I really wanted to say? Good luck, bro! Do feel free to take the cake and eat it, too.
